Kyle Bolton, Pulpit Minister

Hello, I am Kyle Bolton. My family and I moved to Lewisburg in June 2011, and I have served as the Pulpit Minister at Church Street since that time. Prior to moving to Tennessee, I served various churches in Texas since the time I completed my education at Harding University in May 1983.

Both my wife, Cindy, and I are originally from Texas, having spent all of our growing-up years there. We were high school sweethearts and, soon after my college graduation, we married in September 1983. We have two grown children, a daughter (Lindsay) and a son (Derek), who were both raised in Texas, but now also live with their families nearby (in Fairview and Spring Hill). Between them, we have five grandchildren.

Cindy is now retired and spends a lot of her time taking care of things around the house. We enjoy quiet evenings at home reading a good book or watching a movie together. And, of course, we always enjoy every moment we get to spend with the grandchildren.

I enjoy sports. I am a Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and Texas Rangers fan and enjoy watching each of them play at every opportunity. I spend a lot of my free time broadcasting high school sports on the radio. I do play-by-play broadcasting for Marshall County High School basketball and baseball, and I also help, as needed, with football.

On occasion, you might also find me taking in a production of live theatre at the Marshall County Community Theatre, on the square in downtown Lewisburg.

I am so glad to be a part of the Church Street family, and I hope you enjoy (or will soon enjoy) all the times we spend together! Let’s walk hand-in-hand to meet Jesus!

Russell Wyatt, Involvement Minister

Hi, I’m Russell Wyatt, and I’ve had the privilege of serving as the Involvement Minister here at our congregation since April 2022. My journey in full-time ministry began in June 2008, after completing my studies at Freed-Hardeman University, and it has been a joy to walk alongside others as we grow in faith together.

One of my greatest passions is encouraging and teaching people about God’s word. I love helping Christians deepen their relationship with God and find ways to get involved in our church family.

During my free time, you’ll probably find me with a good book in hand, cheering on the 49ers, or watching a Formula 1 race. Fun fact: I also hold a black belt in Tang Soo Do—so if you ever want to talk martial arts, I’m your guy!

I’ve been married to my wonderful wife (Holly) since 2008, and we have two amazing daughters (Addison and Caroline) and a sweet dog named Penny. Whether you’re new here or have been part of our church for years, I’m always eager to connect, chat, and spend time together. Please don’t hesitate to say hello—I’m here to help you get involved and feel at home!

Jacob Pollard, Youth Minister

Hi, I’m Jacob Pollard, and I have the joy of serving as the Youth Minister here at Church Street. I stepped into this role in June 2024 after graduating from Freed-Hardeman University with a B.S. in Bible, with an emphasis in Youth and Family Ministry. Although I am still fairly new to full-time ministry, I’ve been blessed with experience through internships, church camps, and mission trips that have only strengthened my passion for guiding young people in their faith.

I care deeply about helping teenagers discover their place in God’s Kingdom. I believe these years are some of the most formative in life—times when faith can become personal, when the joy of following Jesus takes hold, and when a meaningful relationship with Him is formed. My goal is to encourage, equip, and support both teens and their families as they grow closer to Christ.

When I’m not at the church, you’ll usually find me watching football or playing games. I’m quite competitive and enjoy almost any kind of game—whether it’s on a screen, around a table, or outside in the yard.

If you’re new to Church Street or searching for a place where your teenager can develop in Christ-centered friendships and spiritual development, I’d love to meet you. Please don’t hesitate to introduce yourself—I look forward to getting to know you!
